There was a roller coaster in Cuyahoga Falls in the 1880s

 

 

False - There was a gravity railway in High Bridge Glens Amusement Park in Cuyahoga Falls in 1884.  Although it is frequently called a roller coaster, according to the Cuyahoga Falls Historical Society, it didn't have the hills and valleys we associate with roller coasters today.  It was a very popular ride through.
